The Exhaust System

When it comes to the V8 Monaro (2001 onwards) we recommend two options for a new exhaust system. You can go for either a single 3 inch cat back sport system or a dual 2.5 inch cat back sports system. Both systems will come with a straight through sports performance muffler. They will both create a great new flow which will improve the performance of your car. The key difference is the sound.

The Single 3 inch System

The single 3 inch system will give a good deep note. You will get a smooth note that will give a good grunt under acceleration but will not be too loud in the cabin.

Dual 2.5 inch System

The dual 2.5 inch system will give you a true V8 grunt. This system is sure to be a head turner. It will be loud but we can keep the sound down if you prefer to be quieter. You will get a great new sporty V8 note that sounds awesome under acceleration, and a dynamic improvement in performance and fuel economy.

The Extractors

If you are chasing more power, you should compliment your new system with a set of Pacemaker Extractors. These extractors will allow your cars engine to run more efficiently and therefore improve the power and fuel economy of your car. Combined with the exhaust system you will get an outstanding improvement in power, performance and sound.

Hi-Flow Cats

With regards to hi-flow cat converters, we believe that there is no need to replace your existing cat converter unless it is damaged.

The Chrome End/Tailpipe

To finish the system off in style you will be able to make your selection of exhaust tips from our large range of chrome and stainless steel tips.
